Responding to Customer Needs

The Electrical Safety Authority is responsible for enforcing a level of public electrical safety across Ontario. We work with businesses in all sectors and segments across the province, and are prepared to work with your business to assist you in ensuring electrical safety due diligence and compliance to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code.

All electrical work in your facility must be inspected. This includes all new, renovation, or maintenance work associated with your facilities’ electrical system.

The Electrical Safety Authority encourages businesses across Ontario to contact licensed electrical contractors when planning electrical work, and ensure that the Electrical Safety Authority has inspected all work. To assist businesses in ensuring routine electrical maintenance work meets Ontario Electrical Safety Code requirements, we offer the Continuous Safety Services program which provides streamlined access to reporting your electrical due diligence.
